We’ve taken our classic T16 aviation watch to the next level with these special edition bronze plated releases. Both on-trend and timeless, this rich monochromatic design adds an air of strength and old world appeal to these versatile watches. The bronze unique plating technique gives each and every watch a one of a kind look and patina.
Created in memory of R.J. Mitchell, designer of the legendary Supermarine Spitfire Fighter aircraft, the T16 is simple and timeless. Like all Torgoen signature styles, the T16 is inspired by aviation and the legibility of aeronautical altimeters, and features a clean dial with large digits and markers that illuminate in the dark when charged with bright light.
The watch’s sophisticated Swiss quartz chronograph movement is made by Ronda, a highly regarded Swiss movement manufacturer. The T16 case is constructed from 2161L solid stainless steel and comes in two sizes, 41mm or 44mm with the option of a mineral or sapphire crystal lens. A double “O” ring crown provides water resistance for up to 10 ATM or 100 meters. The fine vintage Italian leather strap with heavy duty solid stainless steel buckle offers an elegant look complete with comfort and durability.
The T16 earned worldwide fame when Sir Richard Branson praised the watch during an interview with the Wall Street Journal about his top tech essentials.
