We first discovered Scott Palmer through his Official Youtube Channel and Instagram Page. Scott is a third generation aviator who holds a commercial pilot license and loves to compete in air races. He is also an avid skydiver (indoor and outdoor) and hold multiple World Records.
We asked Scott to tell us a little bit more about his passion for aviation:
How did you get into Aviation and Skydiving ?
I am a third generation aviator. I have been flying around in airplanes my whole life. When I was 18 years old, I decided to pursue Skydiving since it looked like fun. Fun it was .... I now have over 11,000 skydives and hold multiple world records and championship titles, both in Indoor and Outdoor Skydiving. I have been a licensed pilot for 5 years and hold a commercial instrument pilot license.
Tell us about your most memorable adventure:
I have literally traveled the Globe and been a part of countless adventures, so it is hard to pinpoint just one. However, learning to fly airplanes from my father was one of the greatest experiences of my life.
Why did you decide to open your Youtube channel?
I had been watching various Vlogs on Youtube for a few years and was very intrigued by the idea. However, my lack of editing skills really held me back. Meeting Trent Palmer and watching him start growing a channel really showed me what was possible. Trent was a huge driving force that ultimately got me to start my channel.
Any tips for starting adventurers?
The first step is always the hardest. Step out of your comfort zone and send it.
Any exciting projects you have recently completed that you'd like to tell us about?
I just finished competing in a series of races these last two months. The Reno Air Races in September and the High Sierra Fly In and STOL Drag Championships in October were just an absolutely phenomenal experience!
