The Torgoen T16, one of the most popular pilot watches models (and choice of Richard Branson), is a great example of Torgoen’s appeal. It was created in memory of R.J. Mitchell (1895 – 1937) an English aeronautical engineer who designed many aircraft. Mitchell is best remembered for designing the legendary Second World War fighter, the Supermarine Spitfire.
